News From The New Orleans Preservation Coalition

Impacted by 2019 Mother's Day flooding?

If you or your business was affected by the Mother's Day flooding and you are in need of help salvaging your business records, cultural assets or other cultural resources, email us: nolapreservationcoalition@gmail.com.

As an institutional member of the NOPC, our disaster response network, the New Orleans Alliance for Response, can answer questions, provide salvage and recovery supplies, and activate responders as needed. If you are not a member, please do not hesitate to contact us.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated to the NOPC on GiveNOLA Day

With 11 unique donors, we raised $850 on our first GiveNOLA Day! This is a great start in our efforts to establish the Preservation Coalition and Alliance for Response. Funding we receive ensures our resilience as a network. You are the network, and our goal is to establish solid communication and access to each other pre-, during, and post-disaster.

We are an all volunteer organization, so funding goes directly to:

  • Maintaining our website and membership contact information

  • Storage for emergency supply cache

  • Future training and education about preparedness
